Nature Always Wins

March 2025

Opening Reception: March 7, 2025

6 PM - 9 PM

Long after the humans have gone and the buildings deteriorate, the kudzu will continue to cover every surface. The weeds, growing in the cracks of concrete will continue to assist in its decay, returning everything back to the soil. Humans think they can outsmart nature, but nature will always wins.

We will never be greater or smarter than nature, but if we have any sense we can simply be in awe of it. During the pandemic we’ve learned that what we have is each other and nature. This exhibit looks at the existence of our humanity, accepts its limitations. Please join us for a reception during March's First Friday.
